I was very surprised by my prayer time. I am always so busy to take time out of the day to really just pray. A lot of times, my prayers are short one sentence prayers as I am driving to or from work. Yesterday, I actually stuck to my commitment to pray for NuJacket & I was happy with the outcome.
During my prayer time, I saw an image of an empty woven basket. I felt like God was saying that this empty basket represents NuJacket & that with God’s help, we can fill this basket up with more & more followers of Christ so that we can continue to spread the Word & to bring more people to know Christ.
I have been a member of NuJacket for 5 years now and if it weren’t for God working through people in my life, I may not have ever known the peace & comfort that I now feel since I gave my life to Christ. I am really glad that I took the time to pray yesterday.
